children who are orphaned and to supply
humanitarian aid to their orphanages.
Updates from the Orphanages:
From Ghana:
A new fundraising effort has been started to raise an additional $25,000 to begin Phase II of the orphanage. Phase II will consist of more space to house 23 additional children who are HIV positive and additional rooms such as a kitchen, living room and a study area.
Moreover, funds are needed each month to cover the cost of living for 17 children and to pay operating expenses and staff. Once 40 children are living in the home the monthly expenses will be $150 per child. Thus, continual support is needed in the amount of $6,000 per month.

Three high schools students arrived in August of 2011 to attend Our Lady of the Elms in Akron Ohio and Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. They are living with their foster families as the first recepients of The Orphan's Prayer. In order to assist them in their studies and to obtain various needed items we are in need of a $10,000. From Honduras:
St. Martin de Porres High School in Cleveland created personalized story books for all 40 children in the Honduran orphanage. They have been printed and laminated will be in the Casa's new library soon! In addition, St. Gabriel's Vacation Bible School in Concord created personalized book bags for all the children in the orphanage and surrounding communities. Also, Mark and Lauren (directors) are at the final stages of their adoption process!
